About Krapanj
The island of Krapanj is the lowest-lying (at just 1.25 m above sea level) and smallest inhabited island in the Adriatic Sea. Today, it is home to only around 200 permanent residents. The island is famous for its tradition of sponge diving and fishing. It was never conquered by the Ottoman Empire, although they tried. In the 1700s, Friar Antun, from the island of Crete (Greece), taught the people of Krapanj how to dive for sponges, which became the island's main economic activity.

"Perfection on a perfect island where time seems to have stood still. The house is beautiful, clean and we felt right at home! We planned to go a little further afield every day but ended up just staying on the island and enjoying the house. The hosts were great! They welcomed us when we arrived, showed us around and even brought and grilled fish one evening! We have no words! 10/10"
"A wonderful house and an even more wonderful welcome from the hosts! They helped us get to the island with our luggage, of which there was a lot! :) The house itself was perfect for a family vacation – comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Our favorite room, the terrace, had a beautiful view – we watched the stars from there in the evenings. The island itself and the house's location are perfect – there are several beaches nearby to choose from (depending on the wind 😊). The islanders are very kind and helpful, and there's everything you need on site: a shop, restaurants, and even a small museum – the island has a truly fascinating history. The hosts were amazing – helpful, warm, and always available. We couldn't have asked for better ones! We highly recommend it and hope to return someday!"
"The accommodation is located on the island of Krapanj, just a short walk from the ferry terminal. The island is peaceful, perfect for relaxing. You have the entire house to yourself, and it has everything you need. The hosts are very friendly; they accompanied us to the house and welcomed us with a shot of rakija. They are always available if you need anything. The highlight of the accommodation is definitely the terrace on the first floor. There's really nothing to complain about. If you're traveling in the off-season, like we did, you should check the ferry schedule beforehand to avoid any surprises."

"A beautiful house for your exclusive use, equipped with everything you need. A beautiful terrace with a sea view and a fantastic barbecue area. Everything is neat, new and tastefully decorated. And then there is the unimaginable peace of the island (in May): no crowds, peace and quiet. Another attraction is definitely the lack of cars; it is only a ferry ride away."
"Newly renovated, tastefully furnished and well-equipped, 3 full bedrooms, all living areas air-conditioned, lovely loggia on the upper floor with sea views. Wonderful owners who picked us up by boat from the mainland and were also very kind and helpful. We wish there was a dining table because sitting at the kitchen counter wasn't always comfortable. There was no large supermarket on the island and a folder with sightseeing tips would have been nice"
"It was simply a fantastic holiday! Everything was perfect. From the warm welcome on the mainland by Ana and Dado, who helped us with our luggage and gave us lots of tips, to the lovingly furnished house, complete with every detail, and the warm farewell. Even our 15- and 17-year-old children thought the holiday was great. We'll definitely be back next year! However, you should be aware that you're tied to the public transport (ferry) schedule for every excursion. Since we did a lot of day trips, this did stress us out a bit at times, as we didn't want to have to wait an hour for the next ferry. But if you go there knowing this and prepare accordingly, it's not a problem at all. For us, it turned it into a wonderful adventure!"
